Last year, comedian Jim Carrey gave the commencement address to Maharishi University of Management’s class of 2014. In this speech, he revealed how his late father inspired him to follow his dreams.
Although this video is condensed down to one minute, we’re sure that you’ll find some inspiration within it! He says it himself, “So many of us choose our path out of fear, disguised as practicality.” We too often accept what seems realistic rather than what we really want, because what we really want seems unattainable. But he makes a really good point at the end of the video, which is quoted below:
